Marketing Medicine wins high profile bid for MOHS Workplace Health PDF Print E-mail

Midlands based Marketing Medicine is delighted to announce that they have written the winning bid for a high profile midlands occupational health tender for MOHS Workplace Health.

The award to provide occupational health services for Midland Heart meant that MOHS Workplace Health had to fight off stiff competition from well known national providers as part of the tender process. The new contract began on May 1st, 2010, and the work has begun in earnest.  Katy Draper, Managing Director of Marketing Medicine said "It is particularly good news that this high profile west midland contact has been awarded to a west midland provider and we are delighted to have been able to work with MOHS Workplace Health to secure this contract for them"

Midland Heart is one of the top ten housing and regeneration groups in the country and the largest based in the Midlands. Every year they invest more than £100 million in improving homes, building new ones and making neighbourhoods more desirable and sought after places to live.

With 1,500 staff across a wide geography including but not exclusive to West Midlands, East Midlands and South West border, Midland Heart is passionate about communities. Their vision is to create opportunity, enthuse residents and become one of the most efficient providers of affordable housing and community investment services in the UK.

MOHS Workplace Health will be playing a key role in helping to protect and promote the health, safety and wellbeing of all Midland Heart employees. Occupational health advisor, Emma Keane, will be working to promote a culture of health and wellbeing through proactive health promotion schemes and initiatives that this will improve both employee and company performance.

Helen Mackenzie, General Manager of MOHS Workplace Health said "We are delighted to have won this key piece of midland occupational health work.  It will enable us to work with an excellent organisation and make a significant contribution to the health and well being of their 1,500 team members across the midlands. The contract will use a wide range of our skills across a broad geographical area."

Shirley Finch, HR Business Partner for Care and Support at Midland Heart said "We chose to work with MOHS Workplace Health because they understand our business and its needs, providing an excellent range of quality services and value for money"

Marketing Medicine will also be adding value within the contract, working closely with the internal communications team at Midland Heart and the occupational health advisors in developing health promotions and campaigns.  Katy said "The work is extremely exciting for us involving a specialist blend of social marketing and PR, utilising internal media channels to communicate key messages and improve the health and well being of Midland Heart".
